On June 5 to 7, 2024, the Lao Bar Association and the National Institute of Justice held a joint meeting to create a short-term lawyer training course for those who apply to become lawyers with prior legal experience. The conference lasted for 3 days, at Napakwang Hotel, Keo Udom District, Vientiane Province.

This meeting is a presentation of the need to create a short-term curriculum presented by the Lao Bar Association, curriculum research, study subjects, credits, the content of each subject to be taught and determine the content of each subject.

This meeting was attended by representatives from the Executive Board, the Training Board, the Advisory Board of the Lao Bar Association and the National Institute of Justice, the Department of Promotion and Management of Justice Affairs, the Ministry of Justice.
